The Courtenay Air Raid Shelter Heritage Association is based and located in Newton Abbot, South Devon.
The Shelter was built in June of 1940 in guidance with the government provisions for Home Defence. We are a small group of volunteers and history buffs, with the aims of preserving history for future generations.
